Do you need to pay or register?

More City Halloween events in October 2026

The City of Brampton runs two more kinds of Halloween programs this month. Unlike Fall Fun and Frights, both need registration.

Inclusive Halloween Dinner and Dance. The dance starts at 7:30 p.m. The City lists these fees, plus HST:

Register online, by calling 311 or at any City community centre. Walk-ins are welcome if there is room. Details are on the Inclusive Halloween Dinner and Dance page.

Festive Fall Crafts. These seasonal drop-in craft sessions run on October 18, 24, 25 and 30 at centres including Chinguacousy Park, Paul Palleschi, Cassie Campbell, Earnscliffe and the Susan Fennell Youth Hub. Registration is required, and the links for each session are on the City’s Fall Fun and Frights page.

Tips for trick-or-treating on October 31

Halloween falls on a Saturday in 2026. The City shares these Treat Accessibly tips for homes handing out candy, so every child can reach your door:

  • Light the path to your door or trick-or-treat area.
  • Clear your driveway and walkways, and move cars out of the driveway if you can.
  • Consider a candy station at the end of the driveway, in the garage or at a car trunk.
  • Skip strobe lights and sudden loud noises.
  • Keep pets secure.

More ideas are on the Treat Accessibly website.

What this means for you

If you have young kids, the Saturday afternoon events on October 24 and 31 are the easiest fit. Older kids and families who like the evening atmosphere may prefer the Friday nights. Bring a food donation, dress for the weather, and check the show times above so you arrive before the magic show you want to see.

Cassie Campbell Community Centre is also one of the 10 advance voting locations on October 16 and 17. Our guide on how to vote in Brampton’s 2026 election has the details.
