Lane reductions and noise on Conestoga Drive
Drivers should expect temporary eastbound lane reductions on Conestoga Drive near the terminal, and people on foot will see detours around the site. The City says noise-generating work is limited to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, under the City’s Noise By-law.
That holiday window applies on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12. The City says Brampton Transit runs a Sunday/holiday schedule that day and terminal customer service counters are closed, so check our Thanksgiving 2026 holiday hours guide before you head out.
If you drive through the area, the City’s road closures map shows current lane restrictions. Parking on side streets near the work zone still falls under Brampton’s parking rules, including the three-hour limit.
