Corrections Policy

We want to get it right. If we make a mistake, we will fix it quickly and tell you what changed.

How to report an error
Email hello@bramptonbrief.com with “Correction” in the subject line. Include the article link, the error and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information.

How we handle corrections

  • We review every correction request as soon as we can.
  • Minor errors (typos, small details) are fixed and may not be noted.
  • Substantive errors are fixed and marked with a correction note at the top or bottom of the article that states what was changed and when.
  • If a story is found to be seriously flawed, we may update, retract or remove it, and we will explain why.

Updates
Some stories, such as election guides and weather coverage, change quickly. We mark updated articles with an “Updated” date.
